I can’t be the only one who has bought an oh-so-pretty pair of leggings and regretted it from the very first moment I stepped into a yoga class, can I?
Picking the wrong yoga pants can make it hard for you to try any other pose that’s not shavasana, you know, the one where you’re just laying there.
But there are so many different types, styles, and materials to choose from. Where do we even being when it comes to buying the right yoga pants for our needs?
Here we have a list of some brands that are getting great reviews. You may or may not have heard them, but hey, the yoga pants are all under $80.

Made in LA and designed by Meghan Fielding, this brand makes affordable, organic cotton yoga pants. These capris provide extra cover in as well!
2. Reversable Yoga Pants by Zella
Zella is Nordstrom’s activewear brand and their designer is Lululemon’s old product manager. Consider me in. Most of their leggings are reversible and their fabric is really thick, so you don’t need to worry about your butt crack being on total display when in downward dog! They have their own plus-size line and the best part is that they’re super affordable.
3. Wide Waistband Yoga Pants by Athleta
GAP’s yoga brand offers a huge selection of bottoms and most of them are available in regular, plus, petite, and tall sizes. They even have their own maternity line. The wide waistband of the yoga pants includes a hidden pocket and the fabric is breathable and comfortable. Perfect for those Bikram yoga classes.

These yoga pants are made in the USA and vary from light, to moderate, to high compression. The product descriptions on their website are extremely helpful to decide if you are buying the right yoga pants for your needs. Most of their customers say the V-waist leggings are really flattering! These two may be the most fitted for a hardcore yoga class, but they have many more colorful styles to shop for.

This company offers a wide variety of styles and fittings. Many are made in the USA and they’re designed specifically for wearing during your yoga practice.

ALO is based in L.A. and offers a fun variety of prints, colors and styles that make choosing even more difficult. And those Yen sweat pants! Loose and cozy fitting around your booty area but tight around the calves – and extra long.

You may not think about this brand when looking for some new yoga pants, but there are rave reviews for the harem pants. The capri style is great for yoga, cardio, and strength training. Their loose fit allows for a wide range of motion and breathablilty.

This line of yoga wear offers gear for pole fitness as well as yoga. Their tops and bottoms are designed for Bikram yoga and are tough enough to be used as swimwear. Really, Forever 21 has an activewear line! Yes, really. These may not be the most durable and tough of them all but, hey, these two are getting really good reviews for the price. They have a really cute fit & flare yoga pant that would also make awesome pajamas…er, I mean…running pants?

These are not the flashiest yoga pants, but one thing is for sure: they are a great investment. The fabric is thin and it conceals sweat. The boyfriend pants are loose and comfortable for a wide range of motion.
